Heaphy Vineyard is situated high above Tasman Bay on the Moutere Hills. Our long-established vineyard is defined by Moutere’s signature clay soils. First planted in 1973, our vines are amongst the oldest productive vineyards in New Zealand.

Moutere Gold

Based at the Old Post Office in the Moutere village, we have been producing handmade, small batch jams and chutneys since 2003. Traditional methods and local fruit mean no compromise on quality or flavour.


Neudorf Black – Black Garlic

Inspired by ancient superfoods, our locally produced gourmet Black Garlic range strives to capture natural nutritional benefits while delivering an unrivalled taste experience. We believe anyone can create something special with exceptional flavour and nutrition.  

Neudorf Mushrooms

We were the first commercial growers of the Saffron milk cap in New Zealand and are supplying most of them to Restaurants in the Nelson region and on the Farmers Market. In addition we also grow the following mushrooms which we dry and mix together to an aromatic aroma enhancer. Birch bolete, Larch bolete, Slippery Jack, Pine bolete and Painted Suillus.

Neudorf Olives

A family-run grove producing the highest quality single variety Extra Virgin Olive Oils harvested by hand and pressed in small batches on the grove. We invite you to visit the grove, learn about turning olives into oil and taste our three varieties of Extra Virgin Olive Oil.  

Moutere Inn

New Zealand’s oldest pub built 1850. Now home to an ever-changing selection of craft beer, real ales, and exclusively Moutere wines. Winner Nelson Hospitality’s Outstanding Beverage List Award 2012.

Gravity Cellars

Gravity Cellar Door & Winery is set in the Moutere Hills and built into the Mahana hillside. Relax and enjoy a glass of wine combined with a locally sourced platter, topped off with the stunning views over Tasman Bay and the Moutere Hills.  Gravity is the perfect destination to spend an afternoon.
